Maketa means maquette or model in Basque. What began as an anti-procrastination project is slowly developing with a goal to creating a support mechanism for sustainability research and projects. Recording by digitising the components that make up my surrounds into 3D models and then fine art prints.

From architectural details to landmarks, piments d’espelette to Glace Lopez, each is an exercise in gaining a better understanding of the skills necessary to not only visualise environments but use their digital twin to improve their climate adaptability and resource footprint; whether analysing sunlight hours or water harvesting for energy.

All of which is a very grandiose way of justifying making pretty pictures but there are some interesting environmental projects in progress that have benefitted from this new skillset and connections being made in bridging the virtual with the real without it costing the earth.

The prints are archival and printed on Hahnemûhle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth 305gsm and available in a range of sizes.

The 12” x 10” image on a 40cm x 33cm sheet is 75€ + postage and packaging, please contact me for a catalogue and prices.
