From 2017 I collaborated on designing a website uniting issues on sustainability, one of its aims is to raise funds for projects that contribute positively to environmental problems.
After a long period of research I decided to create a body of work to purge a surplus of anxiety around climate change and pollution and the result is a series of collages produced using digital and traditional printmaking techniques. The imagery come from illustrations by Gustav Doré and deal with stories, fables and parables that connect to the Anthropocene.
In 2020 I setup Circularity UK Ltd, a not-for-profit whose aim is to design systems, circular economies and infrastructure to improve access and availability of clean energy and resource reuse within communities; struggling with both the inequalities in environment and employment.
The funds raised will be used for hardware in projects Circularity engages with.
